My Monday Evening Project

After my bitter defeat in FTC, I splurged and bought myself an arduino. It’s really cool, and the day after the loss, I read the 80-something page manual on how to use it. Since then, I’ve been trying to connect it to VEX components, but I did not figure it out. Finally, my friend, Michael, told me to try using the onboard 5V power supply instead of the external 9V battery I used with the motor controller. It worked, so I spent between 7:00 and 10:45 building and programming a robot to run with arduino! Here’s what I accomplished…

Also, my friend is planning on making a library for VEX components and arduinos on Github, check it out: https://github.com/mrl4214/Arduino-VEX
